If My Favorite used distortion in the early days it would be STAR. The group tends to paint pretty pop hooks on walls of noise, which makes you tilt your head in a good way. If you are a sucker for that whispery female vocal like I am, get your shoegaze pose ready for these fine folk, they are right up your alley. STAR is playing a few shows in the mid-west before heading east for a few more.
